TREASURY ACCOUNTANT - BUCHAREST, SECTOR 4, HYBRID

Responsabilities:

  • Processes data related to operational bank account statements;
  • Manages the financial information required for monitoring treasury activities and ensures the accurate integration of banking transaction data into internal processes;
  • Oversees cash inflows and outflows associated with customer and agent relationships, ensuring their correct and timely recording in financial accounts;
  • Coordinates the processing of banking documents related to supplier payments, tax obligations, card transactions, and foreign currency accounts, ensuring compliance with the company’s financial procedures;
  • Prepares monthly estimates of costs associated with treasury activities, such as banking fees and interest, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting;
  • Monitors transactions processed through bank accounts and collaborates with relevant departments to investigate and resolve any identified discrepancies
  • Periodically prepares financial reports specific to treasury activities, used for performance analysis and decision-making processes;
  • Performs analyses of cash flow trends on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing an up-to-date view of the company’s liquidity position;
  • Interprets cash flow variances against budgeted figures and prior forecasts, explaining the factors driving such deviations;
  • Assesses the company’s exposure to financial risks, including foreign exchange fluctuations, interest rate changes, and liquidity variability;
  • Maintains effective communication with banking institutions and supports the efficient management of the company’s operational relationships with its banking partners;
  • Participates in the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the company’s digital banking solutions, in collaboration with banking counterparts;
  • Contributes to the formulation of the department’s budget and assists in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closing reports.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance;
  • Proficient in using electronic payment applications provided by banks;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced in Excel);
  • Experience working with ERP systems;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Effective communication skills and assertiveness;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Punctual and detail-oriented.
