PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGER - PLOIESTI

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensures the establishment, standardization, and improvement of technological processes and equipment at the plant level, in accordance with environmental, health and safety, quality, and operational standards;
  • Ensures the management of new product execution activities and the launch of new equipment in the production area;
  • Coordinates the definition of the optimal production flow by establishing the capacity for all technological processes and evaluating the installed capacity in relation to customer requirements (orders);
  • Coordinates the implementation and standardization of process engineering systems and programs defined by the Group;
  • Ensures the analysis of input data for the proposal, definition, and implementation of projects aimed at optimizing quality and productivity, increasing safety levels, reducing environmental pollution, and lowering costs;
  • Manages production equipment, including inventory, SAP entries, layout, and documentation;
  • Coordinates the spare parts definition process, including criticality assessment, SAP code definition, and participation in supplier identification;
  • Supervises and validates interventions on equipment and utilities performed by contractors; manages relationships with contractors and evaluates their performance;
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of factory performance by consistently identifying opportunities for improving both individual activities and overall factory operations (Kaizen ideas aligned with factory objectives);
  • Coordinates the subordinate team: participates in the recruitment process to hire appropriate staff, identifies and addresses training needs, evaluates employee performance, and participates in career management initiatives. 

 

Knowledge:

  • Experience in process engineering within the automotive industry is an advantage;
  • At least 3 years of management experience;
  • Experience in equipment maintenance is an advantage;
  • Lean manufacturing/ Six sigma /Blackbelt / Lean Expert desirable;
  • SAP working experience is required;
  • Advanced in English;
  • Determined and result-oriented person;
  • Good people management skills; ability to delegate, correctly guide, and motivate the team in implementing decisions.
