CEE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - BUCHAREST OR ATHENS

Job Summary:

Finance Business Partner plays an active role in helping set the strategic direction of the business as well as providing decision-making support to deliver financial commitments.

Working in a dynamic environment means fostering business insights based on internal and external factors to improve business performance, outside in approach looking from ecosystem perspective, winning mindset looking for business risks to mitigate and opportunities to explore and digitalization and automation of the business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Partnership:

      • Contribute budgeting process, ensure control and budget visibility as well as target delivery for Sales Team with strong partnership with Budget Owners
      • Provide financial guidance and business partnering support to Cluster to steer value creation
      • Demonstrate strong analytical and insight capabilities to deliver insightful analyzes
      • Strong contributor of the European Finance Business Partner community
      • Active participation in SOP+ supporting insights, report and decision-making process

 

Strategic Planning and Budgeting:

      • With Cluster FPA role contribute to Annual Operating Plan financial modelling process and replan phase
      • Supports CFO in target setting and modelling to short- and long-term ambition

 

Financial Analysis:

      • Generates insights at period / quarter close based on financial analysis of system data
      • Included outside / insights to drive business provocation
      • Prepares periodic reports, commentary and business reviews for cluster team
      • Manages financial closing including accruals

  

Forecasting:

      • Owns periodic financial forecast process
      • Analyses the periodic forecast by assessing Trends, Opportunities and Risks
      • Analyses actual results versus forecast and support resolution when gaps arise

 

Financial systems:

    • Creates, updates and generates financial reports following the business needs and its evolution
    • Drive digitalization, implementing new initiatives and ensuring data quality in Digital Tools
    • Actively participates in x-functional projects, to ensure process harmonization across the cluster

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Strong financial literacy and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Native in Romanian (for Bucharest) or native in Greece (for Athens)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Power BI preferred
  • Relevant work experience in Finance & Accounting
  • Prior Experience in a FMCG or Healthcare company is preferred.
