BRAND MANAGER - BUCHAREST, SECTOR 5

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Brand Manager to drive profitable market growth and enhance brand positioning in a competitive FMCG environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead dynamic brands across multiple categories, combining data-driven insights with creative marketing excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the brand strategy and annual marketing plans to achieve growth in volume, value, market share and profitability.
  • Take full ownership of brand P&L and EBITDA performance, monitoring KPIs monthly/quarterly and driving corrective actions for deviations from targets.
  • Continuously analyze market, category, competition and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, risks and portfolio gaps, translating findings into clear action plans.
  • Lead the development and execution of 360° brand campaigns (media, digital, in-store, PR, events), from briefing and agency coordination to implementation and post-campaign evaluation, with a strong focus on ROI.
  • Manage the product portfolio within the category: monitor performance by SKU, recommend pricing strategies, optimize the range and drive successful new product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Trade Marketing to secure optimal distribution, shelf visibility and in-store execution, and to support key customer initiatives.
  • Track brand performance KPIs (volume, value, market share, profitability, distribution, campaign results) and propose corrective or acceleration measures when needed.
  • Build and manage the annual brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and continuous optimization of investments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional brand project teams, providing direction, motivation and clear follow-through to deliver agreed objectives on time and in full.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field.​
  • At least 3 years of experience in brand or product management, ideally within an FMCG environment.​
  • Strong knowledge of brand management, category management, strategic planning, project management and digital marketing.​
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, financial indicators and consumer research and convert them into actionable insights.​
  • Very good communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners (agencies, suppliers, customers).​
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic and changing environment.​
  • Advanced English and good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); driving license category B is considered an advantage.
